Toyota Quality Recognized by 2012 J.D. Power Study

According to initial statements regarding the J.D. Power and Associates 2012 Initial Quality Study, Toyota Motor Corporation is outperforming the Industry. Toyota vehicles have earned recognition across several categories and Toyota manufacturing facilities have won multiple quality awards this year. Collectively, these awards outnumber any other automaker, and thus one must conclude that Toyota Quality is as strong as ever.

Notably three vehicles emerge from the J.D. Power and Associates Inital Quality Study this year. Reportedly, the Corolla, Prius v and Camry have all received accolades in the 2012 Initial Quality Study. While the Toyota Corolla is proving to be an impressive performer, the Toyota Prius v is holding its own against similar models, and the redesigned Toyota Camry is scoring even better than its predecessor. These Toyota vehicles are proving especially worthy of recognition, in light of these recent findings by J.D. Power and Associates.

Overall, Toyota models are showing fewer problems, and this is certainly promising for Toyota Motor Corporation. Ray Tanguay, Senior Vice President and Chief Quality Officer Toyota Motor North America, Inc, concludes from these initial results that “[t]hese accolades echo our enduring commitment to quality, value, and customer satisfaction. Toyota has long been a proponent of quality manufacturing, and while its commitment to quality is again lauded, drivers continue to show a strong bond with their Toyota vehicles.
